A memory behind the music
I totally put this on a playlist or two well before I actually left America to live in Japan. It has that wistful feeling of dropping everything that doesn't matter and going to be free. I'm pretty sure I put it on a playlist for Dan a long time ago and she read something into it but at the time I wasn't really thinking about it too hard. I just liked the way it felt. But now that I listen to the lyrics more closely maybe its a good song for us to play together when we're about to go on a big trip. And an even better song when we're about to leave America for good.
