A memory behind the music
When i was 16 I worked at a Movie Theater, Regal Cinemas. Thats when I discovered this band. Reggie and the Full Effect was actually a bit of a joke band. The main guy in the band was in a bunch of other bands I listened too, most notably The Get Up Kids, but this band ended up being more exciting for him. This was the fun song, the fun album. The song I listened to with my friends. It was kind of a terrible album in some ways but it also has all kinds of little goofy jokes hidden in it. It was the kind of song we could listen to on my shitty car stereo as four of five of my friends were driving around and hanging out in parking lots late at night pretending we were cool. Or it was the kind of song we'd listen to as we were on the way to go see a band at a small live house on a Thursday night.
