A memory behind the music
This is the band that taught me that bear in Spanish is Oso. Its how I knew that place we stayed at in 2018 had Bear in the name. And i learned about this band from my punk rock high school friend Jay. It was probably one of the many times I was living in his spare room that I learned about Minus the Bear. We'd be driving around in my barely working Acura Integra and blasting music and he'd carry around a thick album of CDs so there was always something new to listen to. I think I even spent a thanksgiving with him and his family one time because I had no where else to go and couldn't be alone. It was almost kinda like we were a gay couple the way I was just around for various family events.
