I didn't actually listen to this specific song in Japan. I listened to the previous album released by this band. It was another of those CDs i randomly found in Tsutaya on lonely evening nights. but the music felt so magical. Very uplifting. A little alternate world-ish. This was the music that made living in Shimo Kitazawa in a 1 LDK by myself seem much more fun. The kind of music that encouraged me to put my bed in the living room and have a spare bed in the actual bedroom that'd i'd sometimes rent out on AirBnB. Most of my guests were pretty awkward quiet people. They'd just come and go and not really know what to do with this random foreigner living in the living room. But I remember a few being pretty cool.
